Offering more than just the Caribbean sea and sun, the stunning Placencia Peninsula is a magnetic destination for athletes. With the Caribbean Sea on one side and the Placencia Lagoon on the other, there is no doubt why this marathon has become one of the country's most anticipated running events. The End of the World Marathon is set to take place on December 10th, 2023. The route features a moderately flat course, and participants can choose to run a half marathon or a full marathon. Garnering support from hundreds of volunteers and participants, this event is more than just a marathon. All proceeds raised from registration fees for the End of the World Marathon are donated in full and go towards providing scholarships for Belizean youth. High schools, universities, and trade schools will benefit from the proceeds.
